Junior Accountant / Auditor Job Posting

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other reports for clients.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve any accounting issues.
  • Participate in the planning, executing, and reporting of audits.
  • Assist in the identification and assessment of potential risks and control weaknesses.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the audit team to achieve audit objectives.
  • Maintain professional and productive relationships with clients.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit workpapers that support conclusions reached during audits.
  • Identify and communicate significant accounting and auditing matters to the manager and
    partner on the engagement.
  • Identify emerging risks and areas for improvement in audit processes and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate
    effectively with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
